Anew undergraduate programme combining philosophy and finance and leading to a Bachelor's Degree (180 credits).

Aimed at preparing students to be independent thinkers and problem-solvers - skills highly-valued by today's employers - this innovative programme combines the practical aspects of finance and economics with the argumentative reasoning of philosophy. Benefiting from an interdisciplinary approach, students will be equipped with the ability to reason rigorously and logically within a context of political decisions and economic events
Developed to stimulate critical and concise thinking, to enable reflection and listening and to enhance thoughtful debate, a maximum of 18 students will be accepted to the programme.
The campus is located in the heart of Rome at the historic Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) and all courses will be taught in English. The first two years will be spent in Rome studying philosophy and finance, followed by a semester abroad either in Oxford or Taipei. The three year programme also includes a corporate internship and an academic thesis.
This new undergraduate programme, in partnership with Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford, UK and Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, will lead to a Bachelor's Degree. This unique partnership sustains a global vision shared by these three prestigious establishments to understanding the social and human world around us, and to developing skills useful for a whole range of future careers and activities.
